The PMP® Certification, offered by PMI®, is a globally recognized credential that validates your ability to manage projects using predictive, agile, and hybrid methodologies. It is highly valued across industries and demonstrates expertise in leading and directing projects.
Eligibility requires a four-year degree with 36 months of project management experience or a secondary degree with 60 months of experience. Additionally, you must complete 35 hours of formal project management training or hold a CAPM® certification.
The exam is a 3-hour and 50-minute test with 180 questions in various formats, such as multiple-choice and hotspot. It can be taken at Pearson VUE testing centers or online via remote proctoring.
The training covers the PMBOK® Guide – Seventh Edition, preparing candidates with real-life scenarios, mock exams, and all 35 required contact hours to meet exam prerequisites.
The PMP® Certification is valid for three years. To maintain it, you need to earn 60 Professional Development Units (PDUs) within the three-year period.
